Contruction - 7 Step Installation

Step 1 - Excavation

Based on Resaca's design of your pool, a template of the exact size and shape of the fiberglass pool you purchased will be used to layout the placement into your yard. A digital print is used for the excavation of the property which is specific for your new pool's design and shape. Next we excavate the yard and dig the hole meticulously based on the design to prevent needing an unnecessary amount of back-fill. Finally we compact the excavated area to prevent unwanted settling.

Step 2 - Pool Delivery

Once excavation is completed your new fiberglass pool arrives at your home on a truck-trailer. A compacted bed of gravel is prepared for the excavated ground area. The pool is then offloaded from the trailer and lowered into place. Resaca pools uses guide stakes, string lines and laser levels to ensure accurate placement and leveling of your new fiberglass pool.

Step 3 - Pool Leveling

After the pool is placed on the gravel bed, the floor of the pool is walked on to ensure that there are no areas with voids or humps that were formed during the placement. Water is then added to the pool simultaneously along with backfill. We continuously are checking of the levelness of the pool during this process which is critical to the successful placement of the pool.

Step 4 - Pool Plumbing

While water and backfill is being done, we can also start connecting the plumbing from the pool to the equipment pad location. We make sure all seals are solid and functioning properly.

Step 5 - Deck Preparation

The next step after water and back-fill have been completed is the gravel prepping for whichever type of decking will be surrounding the pool. Typical decking includes concrete or pavers. Finally leveling and shape adjustments and bonding are done at this stage.

Step 6 - Accessories

We have reached the point where the concrete decking, pavers or combination of the two are installed around the pool. We can now integrate accessories and optional features you have added including handrails, ladders, water sheers and deck jets.

Step 7 - Finished Pool

The final step is here once the pool decking has been completed. The yard will be cleaned and any landscaping may be installed at this point. The pool is officially turned over to the owner.
